How do we turn off our critical thinking and drop into our emotional, physical, feeling bodies? We quiet the mind, tell it to step off, breathe, and drop in. It’s not that hard to do when we reside in breath, surrender to our subconscious, and give ourselves permission to “PLAY”.
This 2-day intensive will be rooted in allowing freedom to return. Telling “good, bad, right, wrong” to take a hike while inviting our primary emotions of feeling “mad, sad, glad, lonely, scared” to take hold and reveal what we are doing, rather than “deciding” what to do. These actions will become imbedded choices since they rise from core emotions.
It’s time to turn down the noise in your head and turn up the sound in your heart.
Show up with a strong 60-90 second monologue. Very open to Shakespeare since I’ll be on his turf… but anything of your choosing is welcome. But be fully off-book. We will work with your monologue (most likely discover a different perspective) and then pair up and create scenes from this work.
Please reach out and send me your chosen monologue to help me decide what wine might get paired best with what cheese. 😉 kirk@kirkbaltz.com
